Brainteaser 7- Knotty Problem

I can tie a knot in a piece of string without letting go of either ends. 

How could this be? Explain

    you need to pick up the piece of string with your arms crossed (one end of string is in front and other end is on back). as you unravel your arms, the piece of string is tied in a knot
